Rants

I have been going along listening to different people, reading and thinking. I have several things that I need answers to. Can anyone help?

1. What have they done to Katie Couric? She looks like a nun. I heard they are considering removing her. I do not agree with her views but they made her look dead and talk in a low voice.

She is a woman not a man. She ought to be looking like one. Why do they think she can't deliver the news without looking like the attractive perky woman that she is. Where did Katie go?

2. How come Bush gets rid of 8 attorneys and we have weeks of controversy when Bill Clinton gets rid of 93 and it isn't even a blip on the radar.

3. Why do we continue to have spitting matches in DC instead of taking care of business? They really are going to send the bill to the president when they know it will be vetoed. I think none of these "representatives and senators" should get paid for the last couple of weeks of work. They haven't done anything productive and have just acted like the animal in the bible who had to talk to his rider to get him to do the sensible thing.

4. Don't forget National Day of Prayer, May 3rd. It is our only hope.

Blogging

I wanted to put some information out on blogging for all the beginners at this including myself. I found this the other day and thought it useful.

Christmas is coming

Christmas is coming! Lots of running here and there, trying to get that last minute gift for that special person or friend, making us weary and wishing it over.

I am wondering what our Father is thinking. Will I get that last minute gift from one of my special people or children? Maybe he would say I've been forgotten again because he knows how easily we get lost in our "good works" in the name of Jesus or in the name of "love".

I continue to try to begin filtering everything thru His eyes and His blood that he gave freely for me so I could even have the opportunity to get 'found' in good works.

The amazing fact is, he continues to love us no matter how much 'good works' we do because he is Christmas.

Praise His Holy Name!

Seeing Red

I was browsing thru the store the other day and decided that some red sheets for my bed would be nice. I remember thinking at the time that this was differecnt since I usually gravitate to purple's or mauves. Last night I was reading the Shepard's Rod 2005 and it was talking about crimson and red being the colors for God this next year.

It is in the context of the blood of Jesus and what his death and resurrection symbolizes to us as christians. I may just go get those red sheets as a daily reminder to myself of just what Jesus did do for me at the Cross and thru the resurrection.

What we need to keep before us is that it was big, really big both in the physical as well as the spiritual. Well worth reading if you ar an intercessor or desiring a deeper walk with Jesus.

During a surf adventure I found a website for RBC ministries. They have free on line courses.
